The Big Issues seminar

On Monday 16 November 2009, the State Library of Victoria hosted The Big Issues seminar to discuss the question: What are the key challenges facing Australia's public library services? The program and copies of the presentations are now available.

Applications for the 2010 Pierre Gorman Award are now open. The Award aims to support public library based initiatives which improve access to or delivery of library and information services for people with a disability. Applications must be submitted by COB Friday 27 November 2009.

Walk Against Warming is Australia's biggest day of community action on climate change. Over the last four years, the group has mobilised 100,000 Victorians to walk against warming, and for a safe climate future.
